L2,L3 Protocol Developers required in an ISO 9001:2000 certified Company in Chennai

Designation: L2,L3 Protocol Developers:

Skill sets:. Proficient in C/C++
. Real time operating systems vxWorks/Linux
. Well versed in one or more of the following protocols: 802.1ad,
. 802.3ad, Metro Ethernet Bridging, MPLS, PWE3, STP/RSTP, RMON1/2, TCP/IP.
· Knowledge of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) standards
· Hands on experience designing, implementing, and integrating embedded
firmware for communications products
· Experience working with real-time debugging & profiling tools
· Familiarity with the Motorola Power PC family of microprocessors
· Experience working with redundant systems
· Extensive experience with Intelligent Switch Solution (ISS) workgroup
or other L2/L3 switching and routing solutions software packages
· Ability to interface with and write microcode for Network Processors -
preferably the Xelerated X11
· Experience working with QoS and traffic management chips – preferably
the Dune FAP20.

Exp: 2 to 8 yrs
